Spilling (yet retaining) the filthy truth this week was David Cameroon's toilet seat. The Pop sensation Cameroon dutifully poo'd thrice a day in exactly the same bathroom and whilst there spilled more than just his guts.

In a series of recorded confession's David Cameroon's toilet seat, (who shall remain nameless) spill's the dirty gossip, that DC has been hiding from all of his fans. Some of the extended recordings are still be examined for ____ but the source is believed to be completely credible.

And who wouldn't believe such truths as;

Cameroon cries just after defecating and never wipes.

He cut's his nails, whilst taking a wee, (sitting down), and often sings Hanson covers, (referring back to the days when he was the frontwoman of a Hanson tribute band named Hansoff.

It's believed now the active member of the power ranger's, lied about his credentials to gain the role and isn't actually any good at fighting evil. All this and more coming soon.

Apologies for the lack of updates / site activity recently. We have all gone down slightly different windy paths of late. Anyway Andy, Drew, Joe and Sean got a collaborative drawing session at a local bar going and were joined by Andy's brother Adam from Breton. More drawings soon and personal doodles.

Lots has obviously happened since we've been busy with the efdeay. Andrew has his own tshirt out with supersuper ficial! Rad we know.

Ross has released his font that he made for Tic Toc with The Type Foundry so you can now buy a lisence for as alittle as £20. It's been named /\/\ : L |< , as a sort of digital interpretation of the traditional milk crates it was inspired by.

We are working alot on seperate things. with various magazine illustrations. A possible show and some future collaborations well under way.

We're also hoping to get the site rolling again soon. For the mean time we'll be tweeting, and make sure to check out our individual sites.

We've all been researching and drawing for our riders. And then come June we'll be heading to Bristol for a cycle conference where we'll have our illustrations joining the milltag stand. musical collective wholemeal. Are very close to efdeay. One of our members started the wholesome musical collective with an honest ethos and output a few years ago now. And they're having rather a momentous event tomorrow. At home with wholemeal is a living room party that the boys have been doing since moving in together. In the past the entire day of mixing has been recorded and then uploaded. But this time, they're streaming the entire day live from the front room. RGB is on the bill at somepoint but there's plenty of slightly more considered and justified music coming from the likes of Chowdarr of Inverted Audio and Boiler Room, James Dye of Deadly rhythm, Second line (he's new to this so don't be too hard on him) and some jolly wholemeal residents Possion, Fuction, and the big brothers - Peat D. & Tom Davies. Magic, enough talking, the player is below and you'll be able to listen live from about midday Saturday the 26th Feb.

1. Rules, The scribble had to turn into a face, only straight lines were allowed to be drawn when challenging.

A while back we met up with Ken and Louis from Hato Press to talk about some future collaborations and to generally just start a relationship between our collective and their studio. Now we're finally putting it into practice and efdeay are becoming the first artist in residence over in Shackwell at the recently resettled Hato Press.

Drew and Ross are to be spending a few days a week working in the studio for the next few months. With collaborations, publications, prints and projects to come out of it. You'll be able to check everything we do as we blog from Hato's new website.

Today Andy and Joe represented the efdeay by presenting our work as a studio to Live magazine in Brixton, where we were interviewed and gave our advice to budding creatives. We are currently in talks with Live about the possibility of contributing to the publication and helping the magazine to become more diverse. So keep those eyes peeled!

BALLOON ISSUES

Just went to enquire about helium balloons.

Cost of a can of helium for roughly 40 balloons is £ 39.99 which I think is pretty expensive when you consider they
only last 8 hours. I have just bought 15 normal coloured balloon for £1.50 which is pretty good and think we can still fill the place for a relatively cheap price. The balloons will be need to be stuck or hung from fishing wire as Joe suggested.

All walls are roughly 250 cm tall. Though we are unlikely to use all of this space.

Left of door 103 cm width (as you walk in)
Right of door 125 cm width
Large wall 235 cm width( the one with the big painting on it when we went)
Window 95 cm width
Mid wall between windows 171 cm + 71 cm extra
Wall left of DJ booth 158 cm
Wall right of DJ( Ie the back wall) 140 cm( could be Balloon area)
Back wall near toilet 190 cm width roughly+ 115 cm side wall
Wall space between 2 door 130 cm ( Ie think this is next to the bar area, I cant read my own notes ; )

I will upload some photos to follow also. Though I think it is best we all go to the venue to look one gain and plan who is going to be where, depending on the work. The measurements are as near as I could get them on my own but I think they will be accurate enough.
Once the photos are uploaded I will write which wall is which to make it easier to understand. I just wanted to upload this now before the paper get lost.I noticed when I went back that the lighting is bad, so we will have to think about how to best light our work.

Check out this simple but interesting piece of work http://www.marcjohns.com/blog/trappings.html think using objects that could lead to a feeling of guilt could be worth looking into.

My idea for posters... branding... and probably work for the booklets of the show. Shape in background represents the balloons. Each person then has their colour that relates to their work in the show as well. We could produce it cheap by just photocopying the backgrounds then screenprinting colours over the top. only need like 6 colours. because the efdeay always stays the same it would be easy to bash some out. Plus we'd be able to get much brighter colours than any printer we could afford. Could probably explain a little better when I see you guys.

thinking of a nice big lino cut. a2 or a1. Got some thermochromatic ink in the post so hopefully it'll colour change as much as that. Testing out next week.

A simple and effective way that we could mount our work is to use pins. I saw a few people at the RCA show displaying there work in a similar way. If we bought pins with coloured heads then it could help link it the the balloon idea, I was also thinking if we are displaying work together we will need a system to distinguish our work. I thought that the coloured pins could be used in this way. Imagine if we all have a allocated colour (ie 5 colours )and we use that colour of balloon or pin to display our work. We would have to have a colour chart or grid to show the viewers who is what colour. I think there are many ways to show this, and with Liam's and Ross's design skills it could work well and be interesting also.

Just a quick test...

Screen Printing wise, it will be quicker, and will look better with these limited colours.

I have been playing around with some ideas. This is an idea I'm drawing up. Simple, but once color has been applied, I think it will look pretty snazzy! I'm planning on hand coloring a limited amount.

But on the topic of color... Are we sticking to a limited palette??
Because if we are? I have some ideas!

Red is frequently used as a symbol of guilt, so how about these selected colors?
